Sacred Baby

This time with your baby is sacred. Honor the journey, the good and the bad, with reverence and celebration. Sacred Baby for mama + baby is women coming together, with baby, to honor the sacred journey of motherhood.

Sacred Baby is an 8 week class series designed to continue the Sacred Pregnancy path, or to create a new path all on its own. We, along with baby, sit together in sacred circle to honor the rite of passage of bringing a baby earth side, whether it’s the transition from maiden to mother or the transition of adding another child. Empowered by the support of other mothers, we build our village during a time of challenge, beauty, and growth. Through the gifts of community, commemoration, celebration, and ceremony, we shine light on the many vibrant experiences of mothering those moments bursting with unbound love as well as the raw, vulnerable times.

Prior attendance of Sacred Pregnancy classes is not a requirement for joining Sacred Baby. This series is open to all moms, new and experienced, and their babies in the first year of life.

Sacred Red Tent Women's Circle

Dear divine women!

The power of women’s circles used to be known and felt throughout the world.

Feminine wisdom used to be passed down from one generation to the next. Grandmother to mother to daughter to granddaughter and so on.

Instead of God Mothers and God Fathers, there were Goddess Mothers who would also take on the wise woman role. These women would guide their Goddess Daughter on the path of feminine wisdom.

But the witch trials in particular were a period in time where women began to distrust one another.

Forced to turn each other in, out of fear of having the finger pointed at themselves, this persecution created devastating rifts, pain, and trauma through entire communities of women.

All of that trust, sisterhood, and wisdom, was lost.

This is why there’s a deep rooted mistrust that can still be found and felt amongst groups of women today. This is the origin of the cattiness, gossiping, and backstabbing that we have all been both victims and perpetrators of.

Our inner patriarch tells us not to trust other women, and often we don’t even know where this has come from.

But when we rise above this, and come together as women, we become the strength and support we are all craving in our hearts.

This is one of the reasons why I choose to host and lead sacred women circles

The effects reach far beyond that of an ordinary group, it’s a sacred sisterhood.

The sacred power of women’s circles

It’s a safe and supportive space for women to come together, share their truth, and be witnessed and heard; without any shame, guilt, or judgement.

We come together to share, learn, laugh, cry, connect, heal; to feel deeper than we ever have, and to simply be our authentic selves, and be celebrated for that.

I’ve been witness to women in circle committed not only to their own healing, but the healing of the women sat beside them, too.

I’ve watched women show up to groups as total strangers, and leave as close friends with incredible bonds that have the power to last a lifetime.

This is the power of circle.

When we show up and sit in sacred space with women, we are met with a mirror to the deep, inner wisdom we hold within ourselves. And in turn, we can be a mirror for others.

This is where you’ll have the biggest ah-ha moments, be reminded of who you truly are, and the woman you came here to be.

Women’s circles are an enchanting way of celebrating true connection between women of all ages and backgrounds. We drop our sometimes conflicting roles as partners, mothers, daughters, professionals, seducers, caretakers, to simply be ourselves.

I’d love to share with you this delightful experience of sisterhood. Bring a flower, a friend and an open curious heart!

Dancing naked and howling at the moonlight aren't required!

Death Cafe

A Death Café is a safe and relaxed place to gather with people, often strangers, to discuss topics related to death and dying. We believe in the power of supportive companioning throughout birth, death & grief. The silence surrounding death needs to be broken.

The objective is to engage in interesting, thought-provoking and life-affirming conversations. It is not a counselling or bereavement session, rather an opportunity “to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.”

Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

Our Death Cafes are always offered:
- In an accessible, safe, respectful and confidential space
- With no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action

So grab a cup of warm tea, bring that huge piece of cake and join us
